i found a link for refences on this place on a site where a group of people do urban exploring. they decided to go under the powerhouse and go into the tunnels where the turbine blades are propelled by water. the best part ab0ut these tunnels? it exits right behinde the actual falls.

January 28th, a big day for mac fans

For the past 6-8 months theres been rumors of a  Mac Tablet being created by apple. if you have been drooling over this rumor it might be a reality on the 28th. apple is having an event at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco at 10 am Pacific time (or 1 pm Eastern time). The Artsy look of the Ad for the event might be giving an impression of a tablet, or the new ipods being released this year. What do you think it might be?

FCC Passes New Lenovo S10-3t

So i was looking for a new netbook as mine is damaged, and came accross this in a forum i go on alot. i own a lenovo S10 already and go on this site for hacks and software related to the Lenovo ideapad S series Anyways heres the FCC image of the laptop

The netbok will be packing a rotating convertable touchsceen as seen on alot of other tablet laptops, and have the new pine trail atom processor. it will also have the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3G slot and GPS. also it has been rumored to be using the same simple tap technology the Lenovo thinkpad X200 uses. It’s also going to come running with windows 7 which means its going to be touch friendly out of the box. prices are not out yet, but i will be posting it on here as soon as i hear about it

Wind Mobile-has mobile service finally improved for canada?

Hello everyone, i haven’t blog’d in awhile. i know how hard it is when choosing a cellphone plan with all the big 3 company’s we have here (bell,telus,rogers). but now we have something i didn’t think was even coming to Canada. WIND mobile is the name and there here to kick ass. It took them awhile to get in Canada and get up and running, but in a few days we will have Canada’s best solution to mobile phone service . you might ask, whats so good about them? well, other than allreday having most of Canada allreday covered (some areas not covered till next year)  and offering 21MB/s data speeds, there plans are unbelievable. they offer 3 plans, cheaper one starting at 15$ not having the greatest offering, but still dual-able, to the 45$ plan that offers amazing coverage. the 45 has unlimited nationwide wind to wind, unlimited province wide,(yes you read that right UNLIMITED PROVINCE WIDE) and unlimited texting, with caller id. they also have data plans starting at 15$ for blackberry’s and 35 for smartphones. the catch? nothing. absolutely nothing. the other thing i wanted to mention was if you for some reason do not like the service, you can cancel it, with no cancellation fee bullshit or any of that crap. they also let you use any phone compatible with their network(its HSDPA+) and offer phones at a decent price. At the moment they only have 4 phones but will continue to add more as the company grows. So if you are looking for a cellphone provider to get more bang for your buck, wait for a bit and go with these guys.

my top 5 favoruite ipod touch/iphone free apps

So its been the 3rd week with my ipod touch and i have been downloading games and apps like no fuking tommrow. so i thought i’d let the world know about the 10 free ones worth downloading.

1. Tower Maddness Zero (TM Zero)

this game has the same feeling to desktop tower defense (if you know what game im taking about)

it has ad’s which is expected of a free game, but you get all the levels still. the objective of the game is to make shure no aliens steal your sheep kept in a pen. you have various types of towers to choose from like laser towers to artillery to shock towers.

2.WordPress

for the blogger on the road (or if you own a ipod touch, near a hotspot) this handy app lets you view, edit and create blog posts with easy to use controls. do anything you would be able to do on your computer with this app for your ipod touch/iphone

3. Ebuddy

Now i tried out a whole bunch of im apps for the ipod touch/iphone and this one was the best. it gives you push notifications, adds ANY protocol and even has a vibrate function when someone messages you that also works with the ipod touch!

4. Dropbox

if you want to access your files from your computer on the go, use this app that came out earlier this year for the PC/Mac. it supports anyfile type and can give you up to 2 GB’s of online space. if you sign up now, there giving away even more as a Christmas present to users.  

5.EliminatePro

this has to be one of the best apps ever for a mobile device.  a quake clone that supports online gameplay. this game has a similar look to it, but a upgrade with weapons and armor. you can custiomize your armor as well a

Review on Zune, and where the fuck is the marketplace for canada?

so i picked up the Zune 8GB model  for about $120 at the source by cc. I let it charge and set it up on my laptop. The software works nice with the Zune, by letting you sync your music over your home network due to the built-in wireless card the Zune has. I also tried out the games and they ran really well. the sound quality is really clear and crisp, but would sound better if i had better headphones. i just fuking home the Zune marketplace, which lets you buy music, video and games from the Zune software using Microsoft points. over all i give the Zune a 8/10 as the Zune OS is a bit…sluggish and doesn’t have easy setup. just cant wait to get my hands on the Zune HD

New Ipods Out. Camera,OpenGl and price drop, whats not to like?

so today i was reading gizmodo’s live blog while they were at the apple rock and roll keynote that kicked off today around 9am. it started of with some talk about sofware and and about netbooks.  then apple kicked it off with some new games for the iphone/ipod touch. games like assains creed II, madden and a dj game from the creators of tap tap, which lets you make you own mix of a song while playing the game. then they ripped out the all new 3rd gen ipod  which packs the same things as the pervoius ones did, but now you getOpenGl 2.0 , like the iphone has.Next was the Ipod Nano. what do you get? Built in Pedometer,fm radio and a video camera WITH a microphone. this quite amazing when i saw this becuase it has all three thing put into one tiny device. Prices for both devices are available at http:\\www.apple.ca/store

going grocery shopping at 3:10 am! :S

hello everyone, its 3 in the morning and I’m here chillin with the boys and my babe. we are hungry and have no food, so were going to the grocery store to get some shit. this should be interesting, as i think the cashier will think we just smoke a shitton of weed and are baked out of our faking minds lmao. so windows 7 is running…ok. wasn’t what i expected, i recommend getting about 2 gigs of ram if you plan to install on a atom notebook.other than that aero seems to be running smoothly and 3D flip is fuking amazing despite having the GMA 950 as the GPU with descrete memory of 256 and a clock of 400mhz. anyways im leaving soon so ill talk to you all later.
